About Dr. Tina Bradley
Dr. Bradley is a clinical psychologist (PSY#23784) and certified hypnotherapist.
Since 1993, Dr. Bradley has been associated with
the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI) in Tarzana. In addition to her own private practice, she has been a part of the HMI staff, teaching various core classes in the course curriculum, speaking on special topics, and counseling HMI students to help them achieve their goals. Dr. Bradley received her M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles, an American Psychological Association (APA) approved graduate program. In September 2010, she became licensed by the state of California as a clinical psychologist. Dr. Bradley then spent all of 2011 working for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, in their Inmate Mental Health Program. In 2012, Dr. Bradley returned to private practice.
Dr. Bradley is also involved with the Synovation Medical Group’s behavioral medicine program at Pasadena Rehabilitation Institute and at South Bay Pain Management. Within the multidisciplinary program, Dr. Bradley facilitates groups utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy, biofeedback and relaxation training to help increase patients’ ability to manage their pain and improve overall well being. She incorporates these elements into her private practice as well.
Dr. Bradley's predoctoral and postdoctoral internships in the community-based services arena emphasized the provision of assessment, intervention, and treatment to clients dealing with that which is unique to such subpopulations as severely emotionally disturbed youth and their families, LGBTQ individuals, clients living with HIV/AIDS, current and former foster youth, underserved multicultural groups, and survivors of trauma, to name a few. As a registered post-doctoral fellow (RPS#2008038) in 2008, Dr. Bradley was hired as a crisis clinician for the Children’s Intensive Response Team (CIRT) at Casa Pacifica in Camarillo, responding to mental health emergencies throughout Ventura Country. This experience provided Dr. Bradley with extensive training in the area of direct crisis assessment, intervention, and treatment on children and adolescents under 21 years and their families.
